Turkish department stores begin video-wall rollout
Turkish department store Boyner has installed a 64-screen video wall at its Panora mall location in Ankara, with 20 more sites to follow suit by the end of the year.
Powered by the software-as-a-service (SaaS) system from TVeez Marketing Intelligence – an Israeli firm known in the U.S. as Odysii – and employing Philips 42-inch LCD displays, the wall displays three different programming channels.
“Essentially, the [store’s] promotions haven’t changed, but the way that Boyner communicate the messages has taken a quantum leap,” said Ediz Burla, marketing VP for TVeez Turkey. “The ability to deliver an animated graphic in full-colour content adds a new dimension to Boyner promotions.”
Boyner has 42 standard-format stores and eight discount outlets around Turkey, serving 28m customers annually.
