The Times newspaper in Britain has become the first to take on Touch2view’s new iTab, the large, interactive tablet designed to present apps and app-based content on a human scale yet offer all the controls and gestures of smaller tablets and smartphones.
“It’s a significant event in the evolution of digital signage and interactive presentation as it taps into the familiarity of apps and app-based content,” said Touch2view MD Mark Jones.
“The response has been favourable, with customers telling us they would much more readily use this type of presentation as it is in a familiar format – an important factor for any advertisers or companies wanting customers to engage with their digital content.”
